This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The charming, slightly dated decor adds a unique charm. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the personal touches are super thoughtful. We had the best night's sleep in ages. Surprisingly, the lack of wifi wasn't an issue because the 4G connection was incredibly strong. It's the perfect getaway to escape the world and immerse yourself in the tranquil Scottish countryside. We loved how this place takes you back in time, with preserved elements from the 19th century like the old windows, wallpaper, and even a carpeted bathroom! The breathtaking views were jaw-dropping. The self-serviced stay was convenient, and the hotel's location is great for exploring the Flow Country. We appreciated the provision of bottled water since tap water is boggy. The revival of this enchanting place is exciting, and despite being currently more self-catering, the rooms and mini-kitchen are clean and cozy. The dining room ambiance with its outdated hunting magazines was a cool touch. We can't wait to see this place fully reopen, but we would definitely stay here again in its current guise. Plus, free parking, pets allowed, and no smoking on-site were all big bonuses.

We had a wonderful stay at Forsinard Suites. The location was perfect for escaping the city and immersing ourselves in the tranquility of the Scottish countryside. The preserved 19th-century charm of the hotel, including the old windows and wallpaper, added a touch of nostalgia to our experience. The amazing views from the bathroom were an added bonus. Although there was no WiFi, the 4G phone signal was strong, great to stay connected. The self-catering facilities were adequate, and the lounge provided a cozy space to relax. Despite the remote location, the clear instructions on how to access our room made check-in easy. The personal welcome note left for us by the entrance was a lovely touch.
Not a fully functioning hotel, so meals and a bar should not be expected.

The nearest airport is conveniently Wick John O'Groats Airport, just perfect if you enjoy long drives through the scenic Scottish countryside. Cons: Who needs a proper hotel anyway? No meals, no bar, no worries! Just come prepared and ready for an adventure!

The airport was so conveniently close to the hotel, it took me a whole five minutes to get there. Must have been a thrilling landing experience for the pilot!
I was deeply disappointed not to have found gold coins under my pillow. Such a missed opportunity!

The comfortable bed ensured that I had a restful night's sleep, and the peaceful location was just what I needed for a relaxing getaway. The hotel staff were friendly and informative, offering helpful tips about the local area. The beautiful Scottish countryside surrounding the hotel was a sight to behold and provided a tranquil escape from the city. I appreciated the thoughtful welcome note left for me upon arrival. The facilities for preparing food were adequate and the lounge area was a cozy space to unwind. I had a nice experience and would highly recommend this hotel.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. I had some difficulty getting hot water in the bathroom;
